What an amazing year! 2017 was just epic for me and I'm so excited I get to share some of the highlights with you all. This is genuinely one of my favourite blogs to share with you guys! This year I travelled to new places all over the UK and met some really incredible couples. I mean really great peoples, the kind that you feel like you've known for ages. I love to get the most out of a wedding by getting to know my brides and grooms really well so they feel comfortable in front of the camera. My couples from this year were AWESOME and I feel like I've made a whole new set of friends. One bride even said that I should change my name and officially become part of their family- what an invitation! One of the absolute best things about this year were the reactions I got from my couples to their photos. People sent me such kind and heartfelt words- I've shown a few below for you to take a look at. The biggest achievement for me will always be a happy couple, so this year has certainly been a success in my books! I think of my job as a privilege because couples invite me to be a part of the biggest day of their lives. I get to photograph moments that will mean so much to them when they first see them and years in the future. It amazes me that my photos will be those that are poured over with children and grandchildren- what a responsibility! You won't catch me going for a career change any time soon though- I love that I can do that for my couples, it really is the greatest job I can imagine!
