What a day I had with Susie and Ben! With so many delights in store, my camera was busy throughout the day, capturing all of the emotion and all of those special moments. Susie and Ben had chosen Bix Manor Barn Oxfordshire for their wedding and it was the perfect backdrop their big day. I started the day photographing both the bride and the groom. It's amazing when I get that opportunity- it means I can tell the whole story, both when the couple are apart and when they come together in the ceremony. Susie had all of her lovely friends and family around her in Bix Manor Barn Oxfordshire, as she got ready for the day. She clearly has a way with words as her hand written letters brought more than one man to tears that morning! The boys, meanwhile, were all getting suited and booted at Ben's parents house in the village where the ceremony was to take place. They soon moved onto St Laurence's Church in Warborough, a church that holds so much significance to them as a family. The ceremony is up there with my favourites- Susie and Ben had put so much thought into every detail. It was candlelit and so everything seemed that little bit more magical as everyone waited for the bride. Susie had a shining moment as she walked into the church, beautifully framed by the church archways. She chose to begin her walk towards her husband to be alone, which I have to say, was epic! We all watched in hushed silence as she beamed at him across the church. What an unforgettable moment!
A Bix Manor Barn Oxfordshire Wedding
Out into the rain and swiftly into the reception, what an evening there was waiting for us all there. With beautiful winter wedding decorations, Bix Manor Barn Oxfordshire was looking at it's best for the occasion. The wine was flowing (I had even heard about this delicious red before the wedding!) and it definitely didn't disappoint! It set all the guests up for an epic evening and a party to remember.
