Goodnestone Park Wedding - Hannah & Reece

"James photographed our wedding in May 2019 and we couldn't have made a better choice of photographer. James was really friendly, relaxed and made us feel as ease throughout. He made a huge effort to get to know our guests on the day but was discreet and captured some fantastic natural moments. We were blown away by the quality of the photographs when they arrived and are so pleased we chose him to capture our wedding day!"- Hannah & Reece

Hannah and Reece had such an incredible wedding day- I absolutely loved being a part of every second. They planned a flawless boho chic wedding at Goodnestone Park, which all of their guests thoroughly enjoyed. It gave the opportunity for so many amazing moments! I started off the day with photographing both Hannah and Reece getting ready for the day. They were staying in the same place but these two had planned everything perfectly- there was no chance of them bumping into each other! I think it even upped the levels of anticipation knowing that their soon to be spouse was so close by. It was such a lovely, relaxed morning, just what you hope for before a wedding.

A Goodnestone Park Wedding

The entire wedding day was held at Goodnestone Park. Their lovely ceremony was held at Holy Cross Church, which is right in the grounds of Goodnestone Park. It is an absolutely beautiful church and only a stone's throw away from the reception that was to follow. Hannah and Reece were overjoyed and clearly having the time of their lives right from the beginning! After the ceremony, it was onto the marquee reception. Talk about a perfect setting! Goodnestone Park have got the most fantastic grounds. Just take a look at the photographs and you'll see what I'm talking about! Hannah and Reece's guests had the best time just drinking in the atmosphere and enjoying the beautiful backdrop that this amazing couple had chosen. The speeches brought out all of the emotion that I suspect was right below the surface from the ceremony anyway! Within a few minutes, guests had tears in their eyes from laughter and emotion. This part of the day was one of my favorites because I could just tell how happy everyone was to be a part of the celebrations. With the formalities out of the way, the evening gave way to an amazing live band that got everyone up on the dance floor in no time. That, with cigars for Hannah and Reece and their parents, was a perfect way to end such a spectacular day of celebration.

My favourite moments

Hannah and Reece were such an amazing couple to photograph. They were so relaxed with each other and were just intent on celebrating their love with those closest to them. It was clear they had really considered every part of their wedding day, making it an intimate and heartfelt day which was a joy to be a part of. There was no stress and nothing to do other than celebrate their love and have a good time. Photographing them have a quiet moment by the fire towards the end of the day was particularly special for me. They were so content to just be with one another and it was the perfect transition from their wedding day into their married lives together.
