Preview // Canterbury Wedding Photographer- Maki and Mamo

There are so many things I could say about Maki and Mamo. These two are an awesome pair and I loved being their Canterbury Wedding Photographer. These two have such a wonderful story and I'm honoured I got to be a part of it. Maki and Mamo are from Japan but met at The University of Kent. First off, how amazing is that that they both travelled from the same country only to meet each other abroad. They are now settled back in Japan where they held their wedding. However, they wanted to do something special in Canterbury which is where I come in! They organised their couple shoot to be in the style of a wedding and invited me to be their Canterbury Wedding Photographer. They literally landed in the UK on Saturday and are already off on the next adventure so the pressure was certainly on to make sure it was worth the trip! We started the shoot at the Cathedral Lodge before moving up to the University. From start to finish we had such a brilliant time! They were so relaxed and fun throughout the whole time we spent together, which made for some awesome photos. It was absolutely fantastic to work with a couple that were so at ease in front of the camera- I felt like I could disappear and they would be just the same. I'm glad I didn't though! I really can't say how thankful I am that Maki and Mamo asked me to be a part of this special day with them. I had such a brilliant time (helped by our mutual love of Manga!) and captured some beautiful moments between the two of them! I would spend more time with these two in a heartbeat. They are great company and I even have a couple of Japanese words under my belt now.
